Garden Power's All-Weather IP67 transformer with SmartGuardTM is light-weight, energy-efficient, water-friendly and safe, which makes it perfect for general garden lighting and outdoor Christmas lights.
The GardenPower All-Weather IP67 is the only transformer with a 5 year guarantee and the only transformer on the market with SmartGuardTM. This amazing circuit board fades up to protect lamps at startup, automatically regulates overloads to reduce the risk of garden fires and shuts down instantly if a short circuit occurs in your lights. Trouble -shooting is easy because the SmartGuardTM status light shines green when it is active, amber when an overload occurs and red when a short circuit shuts it down. Resetting is just a matter of turning the power off and then on again.
The All-Weather IP67 has a toroidal (do-nut shape) core made from a continuous strip of steel, which means there is virtually no hum. This toroidal shape requires about 33% less steel for the same power rating, generates less heat and enables us to use shorter lengths of copper to reduce resistance or friction.
